    This site has a custom footer areas. It doesn’t use the widgets.

    When I try to add the shortcode in the footer text area it just displays the shortcode.

    Without being familiar with your site I’m not sure what the issue might be. Have tried using the do_action php code? It would look something like this…

    
    <?php
    
    do_action( 'wprev_tripadvisor_plugin_action', 6 );
    
    ?>
    

    The 6 is the template ID.

    Thank you. I found the footer.php file and I added the php code, but all of the listings show at once.

    Looks like there is a javascript error coming from Optinmonster. Try fixing it and see if that helps. Or you can disable it and then see if the slider works as a test.

    To investigate the error, right-click on the page > inspect > look for the console window.

    Thank you for the quick response. I turned off the Optinmonster code but it did not resolve the issue.

    What is odd is that the code works on the live website but not the staging website.

    That is strange. For some reason on the staging site, the inline javascript for the slider isn’t being run. Perhaps there is a security setting or plugin blocking inline javascript?
