# Website offline?

 * I was just editing a website when it just stopped responding randomly and I also
   cannot access admin / back end.
 * Checked all WordPress servers seem to be working?
 * Can anyone shed any light?!

 * Before it went down, I was editing the functions.php in child theme. Now all 
   I see is a white screen when I enter the website or try to access the wp-admin.

 * You’ll need to undo what you did to your functions file. If you were editing 
   it via the WP dashboard, you’ll need to get into your server using an FTP client(
   like FileZilla) or use your host’s cPanel.

 * Your site is not hosted on WordPress servers – looks like it’s on One.com.
 * But indeed, looks like PHP has crashed on your site – probably due to something
   you changed in that file. You’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to deactivate your
   child theme manually – find it here:
 *     ```
       wp-content
           themes
               yourtheme - RENAME THIS FOLDER
       ```
