# Website not responding when activating Polylang

 * Hi all,
 * I’ve built several websites using the same themes, host, plugins and this is 
   the first time I’m encountering such an issue – when activating Poylang the website
   stops responding.
 * I’ve followed the troubleshooting guide and assigned all my pages to a language.
 * Website is in english for now and will be translated to french. Assigned all 
   my current pages to english, still not working.
 * How can I solve this issue ?

 * Looks like I didn’t have my homepage attached to the correct translated page.
 * Front page must be linked to a translated page otherwise not working.
 * Also don’t forget about headers and stuff that also need to be translated in 
   order to work.
