Website memory crash

    Hey,

    My website gets about 4/500 visits a day. Last couple of days its been getting a couple of thousand. This was causing server memory to run out and crash website. I disable some plugins including zencache and it seems to be holding ok. Is Zencache bad for memory? I’m looking at new hosting.

    @mugatea That sounds like an issue with your hosting provider. With ZenCache enabled, you should be saving memory, since each request won’t be hitting the database or causing WordPress to run unnecessary functions upon each page load.

    @mugatea what is your PHP memory allowance ? 64 mb ? 128 mb ?

    Also what is your PHP version ?
