# website login/address problem

 * I was changing the general settings within the admin section, making the website
   address a www address instead of just the name of the website. I accidentally
   changed the website address to wwww, instead of www, and now I can’t do anything.
   You can open the website at [http://www.geckolvldesign.com](http://www.geckolvldesign.com)
   but everything loads incorrectly, and when you try to go to [http://www.geckolvldesign.com/wp-admin](http://www.geckolvldesign.com/wp-admin),
   it tries to take you to wwww, which obviously doesn’t work. I have no idea how
   to fix this, please help.
 * TLDR: Website address got changed to wwww.geckolvldesign.com, and now I can’t
   get into settings to fix it.

 * After stepping back for a little and getting out of panic mode, I looked through
   various documentation and found the various solutions to my problem, no responses
   needed, sorry for the post. (I used the phpMyAdmin solution within [http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL](http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL).)
