# Website loads forever

 * Hello!
 * I’m having a strange issue throughout my site on all pages.
    Any page opens up
   quickly but then it keeps loading something for at least 2 minutes.
 * It is especially noticeable in Chrome and Firefox due to their loading animation
   in the corner of the tab and also a “loading”, “waiting” text at the bottom.
 * I thought it can be cause by some plugin, so I deactivated them all for a test,
   but that didn’t help.
 * Would really like to solve that issue.

 * Also try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen, etc.) for
   a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions
   can interfere like plugins).
 * Alternately, if you can install plugins, install [Health Check](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/).
   On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and
   change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, **without affecting normal
   visitors to your site**.

 * Yes, with Health Check in Default Theme mode it loads quickly.
 * Now how do I understand what exactly in my Theme causes the long load?

 * This suggests problem with your `ares` theme.

   so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.
