Website is slow to load and geting connection lost when editing posts

    My website is intermittently loading slowly( can sometimes hang for 15-60 seconds before loading) or not at all. Sometimes when I want to edit a post, I get the message “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.”

    I’m using the latest wordpress version. I started noticing it this week.

    Can anyone help me identify the issue with my site?

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?
