Website is displayed incorrectly after moving to localhost

Hi everyone.

My website looks like this: https://ibb.co/09NSC1g (a lot of text and no GUI) after moving from its original place to my localhost. And I can’t even go to wp login or wp admin, all the pages looks the same. Of course, all the things were done: proper export/import of DB, editing of wp-config file, editing of wp_options table, and replacing all the links to ‘localhost’. What’s may be wrong?

Is PHP installed and active?

Create this as the file “test.php” in the root of your site:

<?php echo "Hello World"; ?>

What do you see at http://localhost/test.php?

@sterndata yes it is working. Did it, I can see this page with “Hello World”. But I am not sure that my localhost php version is the same as original website’s server had.

OK,then. The image you posted looks like some debugging code or maybe a file that’s missing it’s initial <?php and is being output as HTML. It’s really hard to see. What happens if you go to http://localhost/wp-login.php?

@sterndata BTW, I also tried to make a new installation of WP and to move wp-contents folder there. And all the same.

I believe your localhost setup is corrupted or misconfigured.

Try using the https://localwp.com application to host a local WordPress environment.

@sterndata ok thank you, I will try.

It looks like some theme’s files are damaged. Is there a way to change the theme by editing some file or DB table? Sorry for dumb question))

Yes. Google “wordpress change theme database” and you’ll find several tutorials.
