 * When you first go to the page, the background contains for separate images that
   are 1600×400 … how can i change this?

 * i guess i mean the frame in which i upload the photo with my current website,
   would it be possible to adjust (i.e. homepage picture sizing to 1600×600)
 * the current setting makes it really difficult to find photos that fit / or look
   good at a 1600×400 size, therefore when i upload photos it either looks awkward
   or crops out the majority of the photo and you can’t get a good view of the picture

 * Sounds like you really may want to consider finding a new theme that is supported
   by the developers or pick a theme that’s supported on these forums? (any of these–
   [https://wordpress.org/themes/](https://wordpress.org/themes/) )
 * Or hire someone to help you with this one, as it’s really quite difficult, if
   not impossible to help much with custom themes.
