How exactly is this determined?
I installed the Facebook Plugin, then dragged and dropped the Facebook Like button to my right sidebar.
I filled out the title and the URL, set the layout and clicked “Save”.
Shows up on my site no problem.

So I click “Like” and head over to Facebook and see some bizarro world icon (actually a Pinterest icon) as my website icon. Oops. Looks like those programmers who wrote the plugin forgot to include some other useful parameters – like what the graphic on the users timeline would be! ha ha. Garbage in – garbage out!

Anyway – that’s not what I want. It looks terrible – but the plugin (because it’s so poorly documented) doesn’t include a method of including the website icon to be used on the users Facebook timeline… sigh…

So I wait a minute or so, unlike my site on Facebook, then come back to the plugin, read through the poorly (to be generous!) written documentation and decide to include some of the open graph tags in the head.
So I copy and paste, then edit the site name, point to an images folder with the site logo,..
<meta property=”og:image” content=”http://blablahblah/logoblah.jpg”/>
etc, etc, etc.

Oh look – that doesn’t work either! I keep getting an ugly icon on the users timeline … sighhhhhh… Could someone please tell me how to have the user get themselves a nice, pretty logo from my site when they click “Like”? Because whoever’s responsible for this plugin left *that* fairly pertinent piece of info out of the documentation. (PS: Here’s an acronym for you folks when developing a Plugin – UML) and here’s an acronym for all of us who have to deal with crappy documentation – FFS.

Thanks in advance. And by all means, you can insult my intelligence if you can help me solve this…
