Website description/Google Snippets issue

    Hi everyone. I’m new here – so please don’t bite me head off if I’ve followed the wrong procedures and the like.

    I have my own website run on WordPress 3.4.2 that I’m hosting with GoDaddy. However, I am currently having an issue as the site description was hacked 🙁 – I found the text in the header file that I then re-edited back to as I wanted it within the WP editor. However, is that all I need to do? – as Google hasn’t refreshed my snippet (although I know it takes some time to crawl etc)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
