Polylang? If that’s the case, this is most probably due to the custom code you wrote without checking that the plugin is active. By restoring to a backup before 2.2 (2.1.6) everything works perfect and all the other plugins are up to date. The biggest delay is generating a connection with Shortcodes Ultimate. I turned off SU and is in 10-12s with Polylang plugged in and 5-6s without.
