 * I attempted to update an SEO Redirect plugin. And the update did not ever complete.
 * After about 10 minutes of “updating”, I tried to close the webpage where I could
   see WordPress attempting to update since it seemed apparent that the update was
   not working.
 * Then my browser (Chrome) started giving me this message whenever I attempted
   to load a page on my website:
    “This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT”
 * Website:
    [http://www.FreeCustomMusic.com](http://www.FreeCustomMusic.com)
 * I unfortunately have a lot of recent changes on my site that are not backed up.
   So I am reluctant to revert to my last site backup.
 * Does anyone know how I can get my website functioning again, please?
 * Thanks for any help!
    Aaron, the Custom Music Guy

 * Hi Aron,
 * I can see that your website is throwing following error currently.
 * Strict Standards: Non-static method PhpswFaviconManager::PhpswShowFavicon() should
   not be called statically in /home/royaltyf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/phpsword-
   favicon-manager/index.php on line 175
 * To resolve this error, Please try following:
 * 1. open file /home/royaltyf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/phpsword-favicon-manager/
   index.php
 * 2. Find line: function PhpswShowFavicon() {
    3. Replace this line with: public
   static function PhpswShowFavicon() { 4. Save and reload your website.
 * Thanks,

 * Accuwebhosting, thank you so much for helping me!
 * I imagine that I need to use FTP to access this index.php file that you mention.
   And I am actually still a big idiot about FTP in general.
 * Last time I tried using an FTP client I got really frustrated because nothing
   seemed to be working. And I just wanted to throw my computer at the wall – LOL.
 * But apparently the time has come for me to figure FTP out once and for all. So
   I will give it another go.
 * Thanks again!

 * Hi Aaron,
 * Either you can do FTP to modify WordPress files or you can use File Manager of
   cPanel (or any other control panel).
 * Here is a excellent video tutorial on How to use cPanel File Manager.
 * [https://www.cpanel.com/media/tutorials/filemanager.htm](https://www.cpanel.com/media/tutorials/filemanager.htm)
 * I would highly recommend you take backup before you make any changes in WordPress
   files.
 * Thanks,
