Dear @kaelynnmidgley,
Have you checked out the permissions of the mentioned directory: “/var/www/dsdapp/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/”? Try to set it 755 and check if this resolves your issue or not.
If the mentioned resolution didn’t solve your issue, please try to reinstall the plugin. I guess you don’t have an access to your dashboard, right? So try to connect over FTP client and delete “wp-content/plugins/backup” path. If you’re running Pro version, then you should remove a path pointing Pro version (e.g. for Sliver version you should remove “wp-content/plugins/backup-guard-silver”). Now the plugin should be disabled and you can login to your dashboard to reinstall it again.
Hello !
I have encountered the same issue for my website but there are no “backup-guard file” and the “backup” file in the plugins folder is also missing.
I can’t access to the dashboard or any of my website pages.
Can you help me ?
Thanks !
If you’ve installed BackupGuard, then one of the following directories should present in your “/wp-content/plugins/” directory:
backup
backup-guard-silver
backup-guard-gold
backup-guard-platinum
Otherwise the plugin wasn’t installed!
