# Website Code Gone, After Update

 * Hey guys,
    Im a little new to this stuff so if I posted in the wrong part of 
   the forum sorry! My website updated without my permission and now every time 
   i try to visit my site i receive this message:
 * Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/skylin8/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/smallerik-file-browser/wpfib.php on line 144
 * please help,

 * Hi,
 * Do you have a backup of your site? The easiest thing to do is to restore a backup
   before the site was updated.
 * Your hosting should provide this hopefully. I’ve learnt the hard way, it’s all
   part of the learning process and the main thing with working with WordPress is
   to backup, backup, backup! And make sure you backup the database too as well 
   as the wordpress files.

 * Another option you could try is accessing the files via ftp and deleting the 
   files for that particular plugin.
