Hi … I am posting our canned response below in case you missed any of the steps. Did you clear any caching plugins, Cloudflare, CDNs, Autoptimize, etc. completely? That seems to be a step that many miss.

Also, we will have version 3.0.5 available later today which will resolve the majority of issues that people are experiencing.

    Thanks,
    Christine

First, let me apologize for the chaos the update has caused. As much as we test prior to releasing a new version of Social Warfare, there are always variables we can’t account for until we get reports from our users.

Version 3.0.4 is available and should resolve issues with (1) pages and posts loading blank, (2) fatal errors, and (3) warnings showing on the front end. There are still some bugs we are working on, but 3.0.4 should not crash your site. BOTH PLUGINS will need to be updated – please follow these steps:

    (1) Access your site files via FTP or your host’s file manager if you can’t delete the plugins through your site dashboard. You want to delete /wp-content/plugins/social-warfare/ (the whole folder) and /wp-content/plugins/social-warfare-pro/ (the whole folder) if you use Social Warfare Pro.

    (2) After deleting, go to Plugins > Add New and search for Social Warfare. You should see version 3.0.4 available.

    (3) Visit this link to download Social Warfare Pro version 3.0.4: https://warfareplugins.com/updates/social-warfare-pro/social-warfare-pro.zip

    (4) After updating and activating both plugins, clear any caching plugins, Cloudflare, CDNs, Autoptimize, etc. completely.

    (5) Check the front end view of your site to make sure there are no errors. If you see errors, please send an email to info@warfareplugins.com to open a ticket and please include the exact error message you see so we can assign it to a developer.

@cdegraff1 I am a pro user, I am facing the same issue, site backend and frontend is totally blank after the update. I renamed the plugin folder and now the site is working properly. I faced the same problem with free version on one of my another website.

Please fix it, thanks in advance

Dear Christine, thank you for your reply but also with version 3.0.5 following your guide I’m having issues and not compatibility with other plugin that I didn’t had before.
Please could you provide me the old version of the plugin? I’m running a business I can’t wait to fix this problem more I need everything to work the version 2.3.4 was perfect. Otherwise I will go for another plug-in!

    Hi @filippolussana,

Unfortunately, we can’t revert to an older plugin since the database has been changed. We hope you will be patient and wait for version 3.0.6 which should resolve these compatibility issues.

    Thanks,
    Christine

    Hi @cdegraff1,

Is it safe to update the plugin yet? I mean from within WordPress, without having to download the zip?

I am using Divi theme with Social Warfare Pro 3.0.7. The plug-in is breaking Divi builder and I’ve had to disable. Are you by any chance working on a fix for this?

We are so sorry you experienced troubles. We have spent the past several days testing and just released 3.0.8 which should fix all the remaining issues! Here are the instructions: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/3-0-8-update-available/
