 * Hi,
 * I installed the plugin “buddypress members only” to restrict profiles pages from
   being seen to the public but after installing it automatically only showed the
   login widget (not the homepage or register page etc eventhough I tried to setthe
   homepage and register page as visible to logged out users). I deleted the plugin
   and it didn’t change back (only the login widget is visible on my website). I
   already deactivated all plugins but doesnt change. Does anybody know how this
   could possible be solved??
 *  Thanks

 * Have you tried clearing ALL cache? For example:
 * – **Flushing any caching plugins you might be running**, as well as server and/
   or [browser caches](http://www.refreshyourcache.com/). Not just your browser,
   but any op cache or content network cache as well [such as Cloudflare](https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169246-How-do-I-purge-my-cache-).
   That will solve many weird JavaScript issues. If you are using SiteLock, manage
   your caching there. Useful article [https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/)
   –**
   Flushing Managed host caches**. Managed WP hosting often has special caches.
   If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can
   ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

 * Thanks for the tips. In the end I had to reinstall my theme as there were some
   other errors (not sure if caused by the plugin).
