Website and admin page loading very slow ( 30 secs)

    1) How are you hosting the site?

    2) Have you installed any caching plugins?

    3) According to https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/8Exq2/http://embsenindia.org/, there’s a 30 second time-to-first-byte, which strongly indicates you are hosting on a misconfigured or overloaded server.

    Hi Thanks for your response

    1) I am hosting the site on ‘godaddy’ server

    2) I have installed ‘W3 Total Cache’ but its not working as I get below error message ‘FTP credentials don’t allow to write to file /home/surehrehman/embsenindia.org/.htaccess’ . Will try to fix it

    3) My hosting in godaddy is currntly hosting about 10 websites. Is that a big number ?

    You should check with GoDaddy tech support regarding the server load and file ownership and permissions.
