Website & Admin Page Not Loading 3.4.2 – please help!

    Hi there,

    I recently moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org via dreamhost, using the Suffusion theme. I am having quite a bit of problem with my blog, the website and the admin page takes incredibly long time to load. It takes at least 1 min to load the page and many times it just failed to load (internal server error), which makes me really upset 🙁

    I’ve disabled all plugins and re-activating them one by one before, and after that it was working fine, and now it’s not working fine at all again… (and now I’ve deactivated all my plugins except Jetpack and W3 Cache)

    Is it WordPress or is it Dreamhost that’s causing the website not to load? What can I do to make it load faster?

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Check the documentation for your caching plugin on how to deactivate it first before trying this.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hi, Jasline.

    I took a look at your site and I see you have W3TC installed and active, but it’s not actually running. You can tell by looking at the source code of your site and check the HTML comment at the bottom of the page. Are you sure it’s configured correctly?
