Support » Plugin: TablePress » Webpagetest shows 404 error on landing-page

  • Resolved martin1723

I recently ran a Webpagetest ( on my page that showed an 404 error which seems to slow down the initial loading of my page. This landing page contains no tablepress-tables (only the posts which are listed there have tables).

    The request: …/wp-content/plugins/tablepress-category-master/tablepress-categories.css?ver=4.9.6

    resulted in the 404 error.

    Error/Status Code: 404
    Priority: HIGHEST
    Protocol: HTTP/2
    Initiated By: line 56
    Request Start: 0.261 s
Time to First Byte: 1119 ms
    Bytes In (downloaded): 0.0 KB
    Bytes Out (uploaded): 0.4 KB

Could you help me with that? I don’t know if its a problem or if its really related to tablepress…

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This should not really be a problem, as there’s only a CSS file that’s missing.

Now, that CSS file however is not coming from TablePress, but a third-party TablePress “Categories” Extension, which I don’t know. It was not written or developed by me.
