 * I’ve been asked to make some cosmetic tweaks on the webpage: agelessbeautyfortsmith.
   com
 * The problem is, I’m picking up where someone else (who I’m assuming didn’t know
   what they were doing) left off. The second part of the problem is I myself am
   not very versed in web dev/design. I can figure out how to make changes on wordpress
   of course, but the way this website was built is a little confusing. You can
   see what I’m talking about if you visit the page. There seems to be 2 versions
   of the website
 * agelessbeautyfortsmith.com and agelessbeautyfortsmith.com/agelesspress
 * For some reason, the developer made the actual wordpress site inside a subfolder“/
   agelesspress”
 * My question is, what information do I need to access the main site (NOT /agelesspress),
   and how would I make the wordpress version of the site act as the home page and
   have the URL be ‘agelessbeautyfortsmith.com’
 * Please pardon my inexperience
 * (As a side note, the original developer is stonewalling me and literally told
   me ‘sorry, that’s up to you to figure out’. So I’d like to have my ducks in a
   row before making anymore requests. I will be getting little to no help from
   him.)

 * I would hate to say this here but you may be better off starting from the bottom
   up.
 * With the learning curve of both learning some else code and WordPress, it would
   be quicker to start from nothing and do it right then to fix.. Just some thoughts
 * – Export the database
    – Export the theme and all plugins – Wipe it all out and
   reinstall WordPress the way you want and where you want. – Import the database–
   Add all the themes and plugins back in.
 * Always try to do it right other than “just get by”

 * That’s what I figured. I came to that conclusion from what little web knowledge
   I have, but it never hurts to try!
 * I’ve never exported a database or plug ins before. I see where the option is,
   but is there anything special I need to do or look out for, as to not do it wrong?

 * There are too many variables really to point out anything “special”.
 * I would make a backup of the entire current WordPress install and so some reading.
   Here is something to get you started.

 * Sorry for the lack of direct responses but there is little and outsider can help
   with.
