    Hello,

My webP images aren’t displaying on safari, I know safari isn’t compatible with webP, but I thought EWW IO only served webP to compatible browsers?

    See screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vhoxod18whtjc8k/Screenshot%202020-01-10%2019.36.13.png?dl=0

The images that aren’t being served as webP are displaying, but I’m not sure why some are webP and some aren’t? They were all bulk regenerated at the same time?

I don’t know how long this has been going on, I haven’t looked on safari for quite a while.

    Huge thanks,

    Liam

Indeed, the .htaccess rules provided by EWWW IO will only serve .webp images to supported browsers.
But, if you have any sort of caching proxy, like Cloudflare, you absolutely cannot use the .htaccess rules.
Since you’re using Cloudflare, you need to remove the .htaccess rules, clear the Cloudflare cache completely, and use JS WebP instead.
