    Hello devs,

I have an issue with Jetpack Image Accelerator.

They seems to be well delivered in WebP format, but when I analyse my pages in Google Speed Insights, he says they are not.

It significantly lowers the performance score…

    Do you know why ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @julien-g

There are two things I would try here. First when you try to access your site using www (https://www.real-france.fr/) it is not redirecting properly to the domain https://real-france.fr/ – that can be causing problems with Google.

Also, I would recommend clearing out any caching plugins that you have, such as WP-Rocket and then try testing again.

    Hi bruceallen !

I solved the first thing (www), and cleared all caches.

But google insights keeps telling me about images that aren’t in next generation (weBp) format…

The problem is mostly on the home page, I don’t have any alert on the articles pages.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi @julien-g

Jetpack’s Site Accelerator CDN serves images in WebP format when supported by the browser; however, the file’s extension doesn’t change. I’d suggest giving it some time and seeing if the Google Insights results update and reflect it correctly.

Let us know if this persists.
