    Hi all,
As this subject, after installed Imagify(ver:1.10) this plugin and enabled [Display images in WebP format on the site\Use <picture> tags (preferred)] this function, the WebP images can’t display properly!
I found it will be affected with lazy-loading by Autoptimize plugin. After disabled lazy-loading, all situations will work normally. May I have your any advice for this issue? Thanks for a million in advance!

<PS> Autoptimize plugin also supported WebP/AVIF formats with lazy-loading function.

    Updated:
I used another option- “Use rewrite rules”. This issue can still be reproduced.
    No use any CDN.

    Hi @pierre1688

Indeed, at this moment it is not possible to use <picture> tag method to deliver WebP when using Autoptimize’s LazyLoad feature.

You would have two possibilities (in order to keep Imagify’s WebP feature):

    – use rewrite rules method (unless you have CDN/Cloudflare – it is not possible to use it with these)

    – use another LazyLoad plugin – we have created one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/rocket-lazy-load/ or use WP Rocket’s LazyLoad feature if you use the plugin already)

We will check this further in the future in order to see what we can do to make it compatible, so thank you for reporting it.

Let me know if you need any further assistance, I am happy to help.

    Best Regards,
    Marko

    Hey @pierre1688

    You were faster 🙂

Indeed, I just checked again on my test site, it will skip these images from delivering them in WebP format :/

We will definitely check this further and see what can be done from our end.

    Best Regards,
    Marko

    Hi @marko
I will try that rocket-load-lazy plugin for WebP feature. Thanks for detailed explanation! Thanks again!
