Ok I have my site up and running in WordPress. But now it doesn’t have the Google verification in the meta tag. I have been to webmaster tools but can’t verify I think because I have verified in the past and my domain is the same. Should I delete my site and start over. Any instruction on what I should do.

    Thanks

  • You don’t have to put it on the header, you can just dowload the verification file, then upload to your site rook.

Another way is adding TXT to your domain’s DNS record.

I am guessing that I need to do this with my ftp and is there a file called rook

Or you can try to verify it again on Webmasters Tool
Go to your site -> Configuration -> Users
Then Click “Manage Site Owners” on the right side of the page.
