  • So, i guess that no matter what, there is always going to be plugin authors that need to use the wp admin bar for specific functions. I prefer when developers use small icons or fonts glyphs to condense space, but no matter what, there will eventually be overflow. And this can cause overlapping of page elements with overflowing elements of the wp admin bar. What I feel would be convenient is just to overflow the elements off page in a fixed width container, and the parent container to use something simple as -webkit-overflow-x:touch; Today, most mobile devices have their own hardware accelerated inertias for overflowing divs. With minimal javascript this can work on all devices. I am currently overriding the wp admin styles in my functions php at the moment to fix the issues, but isn’t perfected yet.
