 * I was seeing the hosts at [http://wordpress.org/hosting/](http://wordpress.org/hosting/)
   and was wondering how I ould add my site [……..]. I guess getting listed there
   would be costly and I maynot be able to afford it, but I thought I would ask.
   
   And also, dont you guys think, that at least one free host should be mentioned
   there? I am not saying that it should be mine, but people would be looking for
   free hosts, dont you think?

 * If you can find a webhost that will give you MySQL databases and all the opther
   necessary stuff you need to run your own CMS system – then by all means post 
   it here. As far as I know, there is not a single webhost out there that will 
   allow you to have database creation/access/support for free. No way. (and if 
   there is, I’d give it less than 6 months before it starts charging for it!)
 * That is why there are no free hosts listed.
 * As with Blogger, you can get free hostspace with wordpress here…but other than
   that…well prove me wrong! 😉

 * Either your moderated yourself or were moderated pointing to your hosting solution..
 * But anyways..if you look at the bottom of that page, you will find the email 
   address you should send your request to, and if the powers-that-be decide, they
   want to add you to the list..they will.

 * Do note that those hosts listed there give the WP folks a kick back for all those
   coming thru those links. While I do not know the numbers involved over here, 
   most of those affliate programs involve some serious cash.

 * Well I was moderated by removing the link. It seems to be that no leeaching for
   google juice policy. But as Drmike sid the affiliate prog consists of some seruious
   cash. I am interested in knowing how much. I hope some moderator replies to this.

 * The moderators on this forum will have no say on the hosting page. Why don’t 
   you just send an email to the address listed on that page??

 * I did send a mail but did not get any reply. Not even a “Its way, way costly 
   for you”. Guess I should just give up.

 * Knowing what BlueHost and DreamHost kick back as part of Commission Junction,
   it probably is.
