    Web to Lead only needs your Org ID. If you have API access, use the API version; it’s much more powerful and easy to set up.

    How do you choose, which version you use? Or does that happen automatically? Does the API version offer deduplication by checking whether a lead exists already?

    You install the plugin and activate the one you need. De-activate the other one.

    The API version runs a de-dupe based on email.

    Ah perfect, I didn’t even notice the two plugins that get installed. I only have my clients OrgID at the moment, though I’ll work on getting a login for their API.
