Web Attack: Malicious Javascript Redirection 6

    All of my 5 sites I put the Free version of Wordfence but it is not able to prevent this. Norton Anti-Virus reports “Web Attack: Malicious Javascript Redirection 6” and
    blocks the site on my networks computers from being viewed.

    It looks like a Javascript injection or modification of some sort because Norton detects it and blocks the site from being viewed in any browser on my home network computers.

    All sites are on a HostNine.com shared server and every time I use the cPanel program called “R1Soft Restore” to restore the files from the latest restore point they all are able to be viewed again with
    NO reports from Norton about any web attack.

    Is there some setting in the free version of Wordfence to prevent this?

    Hello Glennf,
    what differences can you think of between the version that causes Norton to react and the older version that does NOT cause Norton to react? Do they have different plugins? Different versions of plugins?

    Totally frustrating, so I asked this SEO forum I subscribe to and they suggested to look for viruses on my PC that could lead a hacker in through my PC and I used Norton to scan the entire PC and it did find some very bad stuff on my PC and deleted the threats.

    I also changed the password for my cPanel access to a STRONG password.

    “knock-on-wood” all my sites are coming up and no Norton javascript web attack warning.

    This may solve your problem too.
