Support » Plugin: MapPress Easy Google Maps » Web archive omits maps

  • Thank you for this excellent plugin which I have been using to good effect on my localhost development WP website.

It’s hard to find anything to ask as everything just works and it must be easy to set up as I’m a complete newbie.

The only issue I have is that I like to save my web pages out of Safari as a .webarchive file which I then email to the client for approval (since he can’t check the site online). But the maps are missing from these files – even if I open the webarchive on the same iMac (running MAMP) which is the development machine.

Is there any way to force the map code to save with the archive? It appears that it is currently dependent on a WordPress environment which it no longer has when saved as a standalone archive.

    Thanks for any help.
