    Hi There.

This is in regards to the [rcno-sortable-grid] shortcode.

We are making a website for a public library and government regulations tell us we need to meet web accessibility guidelines of AA. When using a web accessibility checker, we get notices that the search field is missing a label and the labels for the filter select fields are missing appropriate ids when using the for attribute in the labels.

Is there a php hook or a way to override the outputted html for The search and Select fields of your plugin? So we can go in and make modifications where necessary. We would obviously like to avoid hard-coding the plugin files itself. We also can’t rely on Javascript as the Web Checker doesn’t detect html rendered after page load.

Is this something you could help us out with?

    Hello @danielecclestone

I have resolved those accessibility errors, they will be fixed in the next update.
Have you noticed anymore while checking out the plugin?

    Wow that was fast!
Honestly, I only checked the sortable grid. But if the search fields and select drop down are used globally I would think it would fix everything. Other than that, We didn’t see any other issues.

Anyway, thank you so much for your help

Out of curiosity, do you have a time-frame for the next update release? So I can tell my Boss 😉

I usually try to aggregate these minor fixes into 1 update before I push it to users, so as to try and avoid spamming users with updates every other day. I just released an update yesterday, so I will hold off on another update until Monday.

    That’s great.

    We really appreciate your help!

Knowing it will meet AA web accessibility compliance, I can see us using it more in the future with other projects.

    Thank again!
