When going to Dashboard->Wordfence->Firewall, I am getting this error:

We were unable to write to ~/wp-content/wflogs/ which the WAF uses for storage. Please update permissions on the parent directory so the web server can write to it.

Please let me know exactly the permissions these folders and files should have (I need to check if they are the correct ones:

    wp-content
    wp-content/wflogs

    and for the files:
    wp-content/wflogs/attack-data.php
    wp-content/wflogs/config.php
    wp-content/wflogs/ips.php
    wp-content/wflogs/rules.php
    wp-content/wflogs/wafRules.rules

I already tried to give them all 0777 permission.
I already tried to check if there are cron jobs via PHP. There is no cron job running via PHP or with any other method.
I alrady tried uninstalling and installing back the Wordfence plugin.

  • Oh, never mind, I solved it.

I uninstalled the plugin, but it seems it kept after uninstall the wflogs folder, so I manually deleted wflogs folder and installed again the plugin and this seems to solve the permissions issue.

Great plugin, have a great day!
