Its never actually worked, but Jetpack continually tells me:

“We were unable to get your stats just now. Please reload this page to try again.”

The top bar when viewing the actual site shows visitors in the small graph with the matrix dots on it, but clicking it returns the error above all the time.

    What’d I do wrong?

    Thanks!

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

Sure thing Jeremy, thanks for your reply.

Site is: http://www.tweakplay.com – There’s no content up there just starting with WordPress from scratch.

I do not see any issues with your site, and I was able to view your Stats on WordPress.com. Do you still experience the issue? If so, do you see the same error message when trying to access your Stats here?

If you only see the error on your site, it might be worth trying to deactivate all your plugins, one at a time, to see if the problem is caused by a conflict with another plugin.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Jeremy, I have the same issue here. I can see the stats in the link you posted above, but have the other message in my dashboard. I have the most recent WordPress installed. Jetpack has also been updated.

Is there any update on this? My client is still seeing this in the dashboard. I can see it in the dashboard and we really need a resolution to this.

@mymothersdaughter Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, and let me know if you find a conflicting plugin?

    Thanks!

I just did again. The only plugin active is the Jetpack and I still get the message.

@mymothersdaughter Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about the site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

Update: I was using the same account on WordPress for two websites to compile stats. I made a second account and then linked it, and all works fine now.

I wont mark this topic as resolved as there’s another person in here working back and forth with issues to resolve as well. Feel free to resolve mark it or whatever if you like. πŸ™‚

Thanks for not closing this @tweakben. I created a brand new email for my client so I don’t think that will resolve my issue.

@rajaobaid89 Your Jetpack connection seems to be working properly. If you still experience issues, could you give the Debug page another short, and let me know if you could send us an email this time?

    Thanks!

    Same problem here … http://millionsofstories.org

Seems like the problem started after I inserted Adsense code on the side bar
