We cannot display this gallery – 2.2.12

    We can not display this gallery – there is a problem with version 2.2.12. In version 2.2.10, there is no such problem. Forced to roll back to 2.2.10.
    Unfortunately, there is currently no way to remove other plugins to find a possible conflict.
    On the website there is a plugin Polylang. But there is no plugin Polylang Slug.
    Errors in debug.log not watch.

    Hi, I have the same problem with version 2.2.12. If I set thumbnail view I get the message “We can not display this gallery” whereas t works with imagebrowser view.
    I’ve rolled back to 2.2.10 and also thumbnail view works.

    @asasergey – Unfortunately the Polylang plugin may not be compatible with NextGEN Gallery, we do recommend WPML (or similarly constructed plugins) for multilingual installations.

    Unfortunately, to replace Polylang with another plugin, in fact, you need to re-create the site. Plylang is one of the main plugins of the site. To continue the work without losses, you just need not update the plug-in to version 2.2.12. It’s much easier.

    Yes. Version 2.2.14. The effect is the same.

    @asasergey – We can try taking a deeper look at your site specifically although I cannot say if we will be able to identify a work-around while using Polylang in this case.

    The problem was solved by itself, as follows:
    1. Go to the PHP version 7.2
    2. Return to PHP 7.1
    The plugin is working. Version 2.2.50
