WCFM Free Vs Ultimate Plugin Compatibility

Hello, I went and purchased Appointments for WooCommerce (bookingwp.com), thinking it would be compatible with WCFM marketplace. However it would appear that it is in fact NOT compatible with the free version. The compatible plugins page says nothing about the fact that WCFM Ultimate is required for some of the plugins to work. So now I have paid money for a plugin that is useless to me. Can you confirm that this is the case?

WCFM Ultimate will not (currently) fit into my budget, since I would only want it for that one feature and don’t need any of the other premium features. Are there any other options available to me at all to get the Appointments plugin working through the free version? Or have I wasted my money? If the later is the case then I would like to suggest that you look into clarifying which plugins are compatible with the free version and which ones require Ultimate on the compatible plugins page.
