wc_reserved_stock table not emptying

    Is it expected that the wc_reserved_stock table just fills up with rows that don’t get deleted once they pass their expiry date?

    Is there not an automated task that flushes the table?

    If a customer begins checking out, but then abandons their purchase, or the payment fails for whatever reason, their entry in the wc_reserved_stock isn’t deleted after its expiry time lapses. If they complete their purchase, then the entry does get deleted.

    It doesn’t seem to affect the site – the stock is still being managed properly, it just seems odd that the table isn’t tidied up – I’m just wondering if that’s the expected behaviour, or a bug.

    Hi @drwpcom thanks for your reply. I’ve installed that plugin, but there’s no woocommerce_cancel_unpaid_orders cron in the “Cron Events” list at all.

    Hi @chiefwigs1982. We’ve seen this issue crop up if caching on the site or server level is caching the wc-order-functions.php file, therefore preventing the cron from being setup. I recommend that you check with your host about this to see if that helps. You can also use WP Crontrol to schedule woocommerce_cancel_unpaid_orders to see if that helps.

    Hi @drwpcom thanks for getting back to me. I can’t see any issues with the caching. What settings do I need to enter in Crontrol to set it up?
