# WC Vendors data update – problem

   background. Taking a while? Click here to run it now.
    when doing click it takes
   me to setings but it does not carry out the update, and the poster follows there.
   some slucion I have the version wc vendors marketplace Version 2.1.4

 * I have same issue on WC Vendors Marketplace v2.1.4
 * I thought this was addressed here:

 * I think we may need to still go into wp-options table and patch version manually?
 * Either way… it does not effect performance.

 * Hello,
 * The updates use the WooCommerce background updater, if for some reason that is
   not able to run, then this will cause the message to stay there. Clicking on 
   the manual run should work as [@gsh2000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gsh2000/)
   pointed out this has been fixed.
 * If you have to, you can put the following 2 lines in your themes functions.php
   to force the update. Load your front end once, then you can remove the lines 
   again.
 *     ```
       wcv_can_view_customer_shipping_name_option(); 
       wcv_update_db_version();
       ```
