WC saving images on server with long name starting with e

I was recently having a problem with bringing in images too large @800×800 and I was deleting attached files and it created a big mess. That mess was fixed and I am now bring in smaller images, but now WC or WP, I don’t know which one, is creating copies of each image I bring in with the original title that I give my image followed with the letter e and bunch of numbers and something is trying to resize them. I know WP resizes pics and they are ok no errors with those. The problem is when these build up I am getting an “F” score with Gmetrix and then if it gets too bad I get throttled by bluehost. Will someone please tell me what is causing my images to be saved with this string of e and numbers. Here is an example of the errors.
