    Hi,

We are having problems since the last two updates with our delivery periods. Last time, most of the delivery periods were missing in both languages, this time, it is only affecting the English delivery periods.

We are running Germanized for WooCommerce 3.9.2, Germanized for WooCommerce Pro 3.5.3, WooCommerce 6.5.1, WooCommerce Multilingual 4.12.6 and WordPress 5.9.3.

When we first had this issue, the delivery times were simply gone and we had to re-enter them. This time, the delivery time is still there in the backend, but not displayed on the product page. Only when you choese a variation, the time appears. It also does not affect all products, mostly those in the accessories category.
And it also affects products that have no variations such as this one: https://www.induvid.com/en/produkt/iplore-battery-charger/

The delivery periods are correctly translated via WPML and, as I said, visible in the back-end (product editor). Is there anybode who can help us with this?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,
    viZaar Marketing Team

    Hi there,

how did you insert the delivery times? Are you using a custom product data import plugin? Did you try saving the product data again (via the backend), does that fix the issue?

    Cheers

    Hi,

No, we do not use custom plugins. They are defined under “products – delivery times” (I assume that’s what it’s called, we are using a German backend) and available in both languages. It did work before, so I don’t think the problem is caused there.
And yes, we did try to save the product data again and it still does not display. The times are correctly visible in the backend, but the English products (mostly only from the accessory category) display “upon request”, as you probably have seen on the product page I added.

Well, there must be some kind of problem as in my local environment there is no such issue. We’ve changed the WPML handling specifically for translating delivery times as older versions were not able to translate them reliably. What is your default language? Are your delivery times managed in the default language and translated to other languages? Are you sure that all your delivery times are translated?

    Hi,
Our default language is German. But as described in my first message, two updates ago, in both languages, the delivery times were missing for some products. But that time, they were also gone in the product back-end and the problem was fixed once we re-entered them.

Now, after the update a few days ago, only some English delivery times (mainly from one category) are not being displayed, yet they are correctly visible in the back-end. And they are displayed when you choose a variation, but that doesn’t help us in regards to the not-variable products.

Our delivery times have been translated before and also after your update. I have uploaded a screenshot of both views: https://www.induvid.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Screenshot-Lieferzeiten-scaled.jpg

    Hi,

did you try to set another, different delivery time for those products that are affected? Does that work? This must be some kind of WPML-related issue as the delivery times seem to be valid (as shown in the backend).

I tested this before but just to make sure, I tried it again. Changes only display in the German product, but no matter what I do, the English product always remains “upon request” 🙁

so you think we should open another thread in the WPML forum?

You should somehow refresh the translation of the product – I do not really know how that would be possible (e.g. marking the product as not yet translated, translate again) as this feature must be part of WPML. Btw: Does it work for newly created/translated products?

Hm, it appears that the issue does not affect products that i create new:
    https://www.induvid.com/en/produkt/display-protection-sheets/

    the original is this: https://www.induvid.com/en/produkt/display-protection-sheet/

How can we mark products as not translated? We tried to delete the translation, but that didn’t do the trick.

So we will probably have to create new products for the affected ones.

I actually don’t know – that maybe subject to the WPML support. Somehow the data stored within the translated product seems to be invalid and doesn’t refresh.

    Cheers
