• I’m a seasoned blogger and am very conscious about every plugin that goes on my site–I only have 4 installed. Honestly, this plugin was just way too spammy for my tastes. From the oversized lettering on the left side panel of the dashboard to the large green notification bars on the front page of the dashboard.

I don’t appreciate being bombarded with notifications to upgrade. If the plugin is good and I feel an upgrade will increase my conversion rates then I will do so, and I have. But attempting to throw pop-ups in my face and using other forced interaction techniques will just make me uninstall the plugin altogether as I have done with this one.

It also makes me afraid this plugin is doing things in the background to earn extra cash for its creators that most people wouldn’t agree with. If a product or a blog is good you don’t need to spam in order to convert.
