Way to title posts using time stamp?

Is there a way to have WordPress automatically title a post using the time stamp? I want the titles for my posts to be given by the output of the_time(‘d M Y H:i’) (e.g. “28 Feb 2007 23:17”), but I don’t want to actually type that in each time I write an entry. It seems like there should be a way, but I can’t think of anything obvious.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • I’d just modify the template to place what you want where you want it.

Yes, what he said. Replace `<?php the_title() ?>’ with your PHP date info.

Of course, this may bring in some issues – it *could* just display the current date, rather than the date of your post. I’m not sure…you’d have to try it and see…
