[Resolved] Way to specify different reference width of video?

If I attempt to use css to adjust width of the .rve div wrapping the video (for example to width=75%) it seems that this plugin does not pick up on this. The width does shrink, but the height/width aspect ratio is not maintained (which to be fair, is a problem I’ve experienced independent of this plugin).

Is there a way for me to control the relative with of the video via the div.rve element without having to set a relative width on the parent HTML element?

The latest release, version 1.2.2, will resize videos with JavaScript on window load and resize events, which should respect the CSS width you set on those .rve div’s. If you upgrade, let me know how it works.

My video needs to be 990 px wide. Is there a way to make that the reference width when the page is loading. Right now when loading it is about 500px and then jumps to the right width.

Thanks Kevin. Before you posted, I figured out a way to work around my issue by controlling the size of the parent element, which ended up working out better for me in the long run.

    Cheers!
