Way to define page template via URL string?

  • Hey there,

I’m trying to accomplish something in respect to the usage of custom page templates.

Let’s say I have a page: site.com/page1 using the default template.

I have a custom page template created that I called ‘custom’.

I’d like to be able to be able to display page1 using the default template, but when linked to as site.com/page1?template=custom I would be able to use the custom page template. This way I can decide when to show certain users which template depending on how I link to the page.

    Is this possible?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. 🙂
