Way less than what they promise

    This theme is promising but not delivering.
    There is no documentation, and they announce things that aren’t real:

    Custom Colors: The only color you can modify is that of the header TEXT. NOTHING ELSE.
    Featured images: That is standard in all themes. In this one, they don’t show in the article itself.

    Theme Options: They announce 10 preset section layouts – maybe so, but using the customizer, good luck, because they don’t show in the customizer: only the checkmark appears besides blank spaces and you choose at random because you can’t see them(!!!).

    This theme is promising a lot, probably has a lot of potential, but it doesn’t deliver and the developer doesn’t seem to want to solve these issues.

    It’s been a waste of time but mostly a very big disappointment. Especially since there is no paid version with all the bells and wisthles either… so the problems are real.

    I should have realized that 1,000+ installs with only one (5 stars) review meant something: most likely a friend giving a nice review because it says “better layouts in free version” but there is NO paid version! Oh gosh!

    Hi,

    I would like to request you not to expect much from a free theme. And yes, the theme does not have option to change the template color. The Custom Color tag does not specifically mean that you can change the theme color.

    And the theme consist of 10 different layout design. You can check it in our demo and even in our video tutorial. There is nothing lie behind it. May be the theme is conflicting with some of your plugin and is breaking the customizer layout that is why you might not have been able to see it. But you can always contact us for support in case of the problem.

    And we do not have any paid version of the theme and we are consistently working to make this theme way better than pro theme for free. May be we will be adding option to change the color in near future. But with your disappointing comment, we rather get demotivated to give those features for free spending our hours or work time.

    WRONG. That tag says “Custom ColorS” (PLURAL), and for everybody but you on this planet, it means colorS can be changed. Changing the color of ONE text in ONE place can be done with a simple CSS line. Changing a theme’s colors in a different thing and that is what that tag means. Please modify your tags, because they are misleading.

    FALSE: Even in your own tutorial video (now that has nothing to do with my site, does it?), the supposed layouts do NOT appear in the customizer menu/sidebar. ONLY THE CHECKMARK to select a layout we can’t see.

    But with your disappointing comment, we rather get demotivated to give those features for free spending our hours or work time.

    I never asked that you provide it for free. I asked that you do not pretend you provide it when you don’t. I also strongly hinted (as did others, by the way) that I would have paid for a decently complete theme, but you don’t have a paid version – that’s your choice.

    Now please change your tags because right now they are misleading. That is NOT ok.
