Most probably there is fatal JS error on your page. If you send URL I may be able to tell what exactly is causing it.
If you want to troubleshoot yourself, you need to check it with the browser’s javascript console.

Yes, plenty of Javascript errors because neither jQuery, nor Watu scripts are loaded on the page. Your theme is probably not calling wp_head().
Check with some of the default themes.
Thanks. I’m using Twenty Twelve default theme. I chose this one because it is the only one amongst the default themes that I found supported Menus. But I appreciate you told me it was a problem on the Theme’s side.

Twenty Twelve wouldn’t have such problem. I guess some plugin changes the default behavior.
Ok, I’ll start testing with the plug-ins. Thanks!
Hi,
First of all, Async JS & CSS was conflicting and causing the JQuery error. It didn’t matter whether I disables everything on the plugin; it still caused that error. So I disabled it and uninstalled it altogether (it’s a pity, because it did improve speed considerably!).
After I uninstalled the plugin I still had some few other errors, but this time due to a conflict with my Twenty Twelve Theme.
Eventually I changed my Theme from Twenty Twelve to Twenty Fourteen. I needed a Theme that supported Menus and columns, and Twenty Fourteen did support it. So I moved to that one, and the problem was resolved.
I will close this one.
Thanks for the responses and ideas!
