Hi, No matter what color I set the watermark to it will appear white or transparent. I currently have it set to #000000. The watermark is showing up.
I’m looking to purchase premium for the higher version support but I need to fix this first.

    PDF Version 1.4
    Wordpress version 4.1.1
    Woocommerce version 2.3.7
    Waterwoo version 1.0.13

    Hello,

I am sorry you are experiencing troubles with the plugin! But I am confused when you say the watermark is white or transparent but IS showing up. Does it only show when you have it black (#000000)?

Have you checked the options table in your WP database to see what the wwpdf_footer_color value is saved as?

Finally, if you are trying to watermark a file with embedded images or vector shapes, the watermark will be UNDER them and won’t show. You need to strip the PDF of these before trying to place a watermark, as the watermark will not be placed OVER them.

Here is an example of what I’m getting.
You can see that near the bottom the text is white (You can highlight and copy the message), No matter what color I have the watermark set to in options it will always appear white. When generating the example pdf (supplied above) I had the color set to #000000.
The wwpdf_footer_color option is updating correctly.

I would repeat he final paragraph of my first response… You need to look at your PDF and make sure there aren’t white (invisible) layers that can and need to be removed so the watermark can show. You can certainly highlight and copy the watermark even though it’s buried because it is a page element, and you might think it’s white or transparent. But it isn’t, it’s the color you set it to be but buried under other layers in the PDF. At this time I am unaware of a way to output content OVER embedded images and layer masks, vectors, etc. the page must MUST be naked where you intend to print on it.
I urge you to test with a *different* PDF or two to confirm/rule out the problem. As indicated, this plugin will not watermark over images or embedded layers. Again, make sure your file does not have these where you intend to print.
    Thank you!

You’re right, I exported the file with google docs which makes a white layer before text.

Yes, these layers can be removed to expose the naked page, then the watermark will show. Have you sorted it out, then?
