The new media manager (WP3.5.1) is a huge step back and an incredible mistake in the workflow. I don’t understand why mess something that worked fine. I would like the old Media Manager back.
The things I loved and miss:
_The default upload tab
_The quick response.
_The default way I could see only the media uploaded to the post and not the thousands of images I have already used in other posts and that i will never reuse. This obviously slows down the manager.
_The vertical list of small thumbnails and text. We could show only the media we want to edit while the others were automatically hide.
_The way I could edit the informations of each image or video attached in full tab, not in a squeezed 1/4 right panel. I have now to struggle to check and edit title, captions and URLs while the other wide 3/4 of the window is occupied with dozens of other thumbnails. Frankly, who had this brilliant “windows metro” idea?
Please, let us get the old media manager back.
