  • Very nice site, cool design.

    that’s inspiration!

Those linux fonts always look spikey to us. But otherwise its fab.

Root>> I did notice in Linux it’s qute weird. Mostly due to the fact that there’s no Garamond/Georgia? I haven’t dealt with Linux that much… just recently got enough HD space to afford a dual boot 🙂 If I get some extra time I’ll find some substitute fonts to add in. But then again, most sites look weird (due to fonts) in Linux.
Thanks for the comments guys. If you find any problems or have any suggestions I’m all ears 🙂

Georgia is OK on Linux, Garamond isn’t.

But then again, most sites look weird (due to fonts) in Linux.

In my experience that’s just not true. There are a few fonts that don’t work well or are unavailable on Linux, but with a bit of asking around or trying yourself, you’ll always find some that are fine. Avoid Helvetica, Lucida, Garamond, Tahoma and Times (Times New Roman is fine though).

Perhaps Ben, but I consider Garamond, Helvetica, Lucida, Tahoma to be my top list of fonts to use on the web!! That presents a serious problem that mis-renders pages across multiple sites I visit.
