  • I’m having this warning too. Started on 30 July, possibly after plugin update though I’m not too sure.

There are 118,000 results from Google when you google for /wp-content/plugins/easy-testimonials/include/lib/gp-testimonial therefore a LOT of people have this problem.

    Hey madeglobal!

Thanks for chiming in! As I said above, we are addressing this in our next incremental update.

I think those search results are misleading, but we are definitely going to patch this!

    All the best,
    Richard

@richardgabriel I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    Hey @jdembowski!

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I’ve never quite understood that nuance before – I took it to mean phishing for logins, not for legitimate support purposes. From now on we will cease using that method of support on these forums.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Thanks for everything you do!

    All the best,
    Richard
