• On the Advanced tab, Confirmation Email Settings section, I’m getting a warning that I’ve “disabled the email address field on the Fields tab, you will not be able to reply to emails and the confirmation email (if enabled) will not work.

I checked. The email address field is not disabled on the Fields tab. I’ve tried removing the email field and adding it back. That didn’t fix it.

This form has always worked in the past. The only change I have made recently was to add the ability to attach a file.

I’ve found that sometimes the confirmation email works and sometimes it doesn’t.

  • Hi writingasaghost have you checked to make sure that all the fields are enabled correctly and all the proper settings are set up correctly?

When did this issue begin? Was it working correctly when you first started using this plugin?

    Regards

In version 3.xx, Some people wanted to move the Email Address field position on the form. This is done by setting the standard “Email Address field” to ‘Not Available’ (disabled), then setting one of the extra fields for the Email field.

    When you upgrade version 4.xx,
You can now rearrange the fields by drag and drop on the fields tab.
So make sure the Email standard field is not set to ‘Disabled’ on the Fields tab, then delete the other Email field you had set before.
There is a check box to disable standard fields visible after you click the button “show details”
